With Honourable Mention at Toronto Open Data Awards, a second-place finish at the Toronto Climate Week, and recognition by the City of Toronto as Climate Action Championship, Invisible IMPACTs is social purpose research focused on environmental racism and climate inequality with unique studies of hidden carbon risks in how systemic inequities amplify climate risk for racialized communities. Aiming to partner with young and emerging researchers, these Invisible IMPACT studies share insights that inform: policy, governance, and innovation for a Just Transition. From its main product line, Invisible Carbon reinvests fees into developing these studies. By working with Invisible Carbon, organizations can co-invest in Invisible IMPACTs to drive positive change - making systemic inequities visible to build an inclusive carbon economy.
The studies include: re-accounting retirement savings, personhood of nature, heatwaves effects on work commutes, heat-health risks in 2050, and gamification.
